“Enchanted April” will be played at the Arizona Theater Company. This is a film based on the 1922 novel by Elizabeth von Arnim.
It is another Brilliant movie made by Mike Newell Film, Miranda Richardson and Joan Plowright both won Golden Globes for their performances. And now this film is also been released on DVD.
”Enchanted April” is a story of four unrelated women in post-war England who leave their damp and rainy environs to go on a holiday to a secluded coastal villa in Italy.
Two of them who belong to the same ladies' club but have never spoken, become familiar after reading an ad for villas for rent in the local paper. They come across two other ladies to help divide the everyday expenditure. These four women come together at the Villa and find renovation in the calm beauty of their surroundings, rediscovering hope and love.
