"My Cousin Vinny"

"My Cousin Vinny" a movie which stroll everywhere. There are many moments and performances which are very funny. The film stars Joe Pesci as a New Yorker who thinks а black knit shirt under а black leather jacket, if set off by а gold chain around the neck, is elegant courtroom attire.

The movie takes place in Alabama, where Joe is a defense attorney. His cousin played by Ralph Macchio and а friend MitchelΙ Whitfield, two innocent college students on their way to school, who are charged with the murder of a expediency store owner. The incidental proof looks unflattering, and to make it worst is the lack of legal experience.

Reba McEntire Busy at ACM Awards

Reba McEntire was very busy at the ACM Awards on Sunday April 5 2009. She was Hosting the show in Las Vegas for the 11th time. She began the show with a few zingers — somehow finding a way to make Michael Phelps’ legal troubles relevant to a country music audience.

“Seems like everyone wants to cut a country album nowadays. Even Michael Phelps and Willie Nelson are teaming up to do an album. They’re covering the Doobie Brothers!” said the host and also made her debut of her new single, “Strange.”

The tune takes aim at a bad breakup, but this breakup doesn’t feel like the rest. McEntire’s voice is as powerful and distinctive as ever on this one, and the rock ‘n’ roll feel is hard to miss. If you didn’t catch the ACM performance, listen to “Strange” exclusively on CMT.com for a limited time.

It was very personal to me, and I didn't think other people would relate to it the way I did". "So it was put on a greatest hits album as a bonus track -- never gonna be a single, and Mike Dungan [President, Capitol Records Nashville] called one day and told me it was gonna be a single. And I said, 'Go ahead, but ain't nobody gonna play it.' I'm glad I'm an idiot!"

Trace Adkins also sang 'Til the Last Shot's Fired' on the ACM broadcast, backed by the West Point Glee Club choir. The performance was presented in support of the Wounded Warrior Project, which will receive all proceeds from iTunes downloads of the song.

John Mulaney “Comedy Central Presents”

John Mulaney will be getting more exposure this weekend along with the debut of his first half-hour “Comedy Central Presents”. In the taping last summer, he got lawful standing prolonged applause.

Mulaney had been with a simple brick wall background and a lone chair in the departed location Rififi. Also, his opening bit here about a subway mistake has no longer been the local Long Island City orientation, most probably this was because the audience around the world don't laugh as much knowing about the joys of the G and 7 trains.

The Comedy Central Records has also released a full-length CD from Mulaney called “From The Top” which is a 49 minutes CD, with all great substance, which was recorded in November 2008 at the Punchline in San Francisco. Recording outside of NYC gave Mulaney a chance to allow audience members to discover him, rather than already love him as they do here in the city.

The Spinal Tap - Rob Reiner

The Spinal Tap is a film which is very funny with well crafted comedy. “It’s such a fine line between stupid and clever,” said the then rocker David St. Hubbins (Michael McKean). This film manages both sides of stupidity and cleverness, which means it is clever movie about stupid people.

It has the vague impression of fiction and reality in the beginning and the entry of Marty DiBergi who plays the director of a documentary Spinal Tap the rock band which is enacted by Rob Reiner. Reiner spends minute time facing the camera, but makes it up in this character, Marty is an embarrassed on-screen presence who doesn’t know how to act in front of his camera. In the opening scene he crosses his arms, unsure how to grip himself as he sets up the film for the viewers. Marty has spent months on tour with Spinal Tap, a band with as much talent as self-awareness – much to the detriment of whatever dignity they have left.

The band has David St. Hubbins and with his friend Nigel Tufnel, the Lennon and McCartney of the band. Derek Smalls (Harry Shears) is on bass, Viv Savage (David Kaff) is on keyboards, and the drums are occupied by a revolving door of unfortunate fellows who have met various horrible ends, including choking to death on someone else’s vomit and succumbing to spontaneous combustion. Over the course of two decades the band has gone through various incarnations and had some success but their glory days are far in the past. Nevertheless, they set out on a tour to conquer the United States, convinced that they have what it takes to gain the adoration of audiences despite all evidence the contrary.

Chuck Jones

A documentary will be aired by TCM on Chuck Jones, which will be followed by the marathon of his cartoons. Threr are many super hit cartoon characters which are been made by Chuck Jones some of them would be "The Red Shoes", "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

One of the best known characters is the Bugs Bunny, Chuck Jones creation is completely different from the other directors' versions. The Bugs of Jones has so much self confidence and also an amused grin which hardly ever borders on smugness. Also, Jones seemed to like giving Bugs pockets, even though he has no pants. It’s a little disturbing if you think that Bugs is tucking his hands underneath his own skin, but the attitude it gives him is excellent.

“I Love You, Man”

The writers of this movie are John Hamburg and Larry Levin, and the director is John Hamburg. The stars are Paul Rudd, Jason Segel, Rashida Jones, J. K. Simmons, Jaime Pressly, Andy Samberg. It has been rated as R. The Quotes used are “He had a bush like a 40 year old Serbian.” And “This is a man cave no girl has ever been in here.”

“I Love You, Man” is one of the latest comedies which have hit the theaters which is absolute comical. It has a constant amusing teasing which does not end at all, from slapstick to strange situations that will keep you laughing constantly.

Paul Rudd "Peter Klaven", has been dating the same girl for quite sometime and has finally decided to settle down with his girlfriend Zooey "Rashida Jones". Peter is an average real estate agent living in California that has realized that over time dating all these years, he has not really paid much attention into keeping friends in his life. Always spending all his energy at work or with whoever he has been dating.

Now he is stuck in the quandary of finding some regular friends to spend time with, and also someone to take the role of being his best man at his wedding. Everyone in his life can see this as a problem so clearly except Peter. While sitting down at his families house having dinner, he brings up the fact that he has proposed and is getting married. His father and brother suggest that he needs to start going out on "Man Dates" to finally build that needed bond and group of male friends that he needs.

His brother Robbie "Andy Samberg", tries to help him out at first to find someone he can hangout with, suggesting people that he meets at the gym he works at. Each man date just gets funnier as it goes along, although no one seems to click with Peter. Until one day at an open house he is throwing to sell his top listing, he meets Sydney Fife "Jason Segal" they connect almost instantly. Sydney is not even interested in buying a house he just goes to high price listings to eat the food and pick up divorced older women. They talk for sometime exchange cards and go separate ways. Peter realizes that just could be the friend he is looking for and makes it a priority to hang out with him. This starts to cause his fiancé to get jealous of the whole situation between the two of them.

A comedy movie that will be a block buster enjoyed by everyone. Watching Paul Rudd and Jason Segal hanging out is just fun to watch. The interaction between the two of them is just perfect. Showing the difference between how friendships with guys and gals is just totally different, almost in every way. It will leave you laughing with the absurdity that happens throughout the entire film. It does have its perverted and sick jokes that most guys keep to themselves but it just ads to the films humor. A must see and movie worth buying on video to add to your collection. I am willing to go see this movie again with anyone that wants to go, cause it just that funny. If you miss this film you are going to regret it.

Bruce Vilanch

Bruce Vilanch talks about his 20 Oscars wearing his trademark tongue-in-cheek T-shirts and bright pink glasses, the 60-year-old writer briefly traded the writers' room for the retro-themed green room down the hall. Below is the conversation in one of his interviews:

AP: Where are you in the writing process?

Vilanch: There's a complete script and it gets changed every hour on the hour. It will continue to get changed every hour on the hour until we go on the air, and then it will get changed again as the show unfolds and we begin coming up with stuff for Hugh Jackman to do to react to things that have happened on the show.

AP: How many Oscar traditions did you cast aside to make room for the show's much-touted shake up?

Vilanch: There's no standup comic hosting it. Hugh is going to come out and say a few things, but he's not going to do a 10-minute monologue... He's going to be doing a lot of musical stuff, so that will have a different feel to it. The show's got a narrative line this year, so all the awards are grouped around that. The sequence in which they're given is dictated by this narrative. There are different people doing groups of awards instead of a different set for each one, so all that stuff kind of makes it different. But, you know, it's still the Academy Awards, and there are 24 of them to give out.

AP: How does working on the Oscars differ from your other writing jobs?

Vilanch: I've done a lot of other awards shows and the Oscars, of course, are the biggest of them and the most problematic. You've got 24 awards -- only four of them the public really cares about -- and everything else has to be kind of dressed up to maintain people's interest. It's not like ... the Golden Globes, where you have 28 acting awards. You don't have to have any jokes because in a few minutes, someone famous will stagger up on stage and do something drunk.

AP: What excites you about the Oscars?

Vilanch: The movies change every year, so there are new jokes to make about the different movies and world events. It's an interesting amalgam of what's happened the last year in the world as seen through the eyes of the movies that have been made in the last year and released, and that's always fascinating. Look at "Slumdog Millionaire," which is essentially a "Rocky" that's been outsourced to India, like everything else.

AP: How much does the current economic situation affect the show?

Vilanch: We know everybody is suffering, so we have to acknowledge that, but you don't want to dwell on that because it's a downer... In a year where people are constantly worried, they want to see some glamour, they want to have some fun. The goal this year is to make it a party the way it used to be.

AP: What do you think about all the secrecy this year?

Vilanch: Every year they announce the names of the stars that are going to be on the show and the ratings keep going down. This year they're not announcing the names, let's see if the ratings go up. It could go either way. When (the producers) told me what they were going to do, I said, look, if it works, you're geniuses, and if it doesn't, you're the putzes who sank the show.

AP: How do you deal with the stress of Oscar season?

Vilanch: I kind of roll with the punches. I like it. It's fun. I've done it for so long that I know what to expect. This year, so much of what I've been doing is nanny-ing, because the producers are new, the directors are new, the host is new. So a lot of it is about guiding them through because I've been around.

AP: So after 20 years, you still love the Oscars?

Vilanch: It's the greatest show on earth. It's the biggest show in the world. Short of the Super Bowl, it's the most gigantic thing. Everybody shows up. People who don't go to the movies watch it. People who don't watch television watch it. It's kind of a cultural watershed, so it's tremendous to be a part of it.

Bill Buchanan of TV Series 24 is Dead

If you are a fan of the TV series 24 then you must know Bill Buchanan, who is one of the actors of 24 is no more. The spectacular actor is dead and the show 24 will not be the same any more.

But as said the show must go on and now it will be Jack Bauer responsibility to make the show more interesting and more thrilling. As far as deaths on "24" go, Bill Buchanan's on Monday night was fairly quick and painless.

At least it was for actor James Morrison, who has played Jack Bauer's coolheaded boss for the past four years. But longtime fans of the Fox action drama, starring Kiefer Sutherland, still might have been a little shell-shocked.

Buchanan goes out on his own terms -- he blows himself up alongside a group of terrorists who have overtaken the White House. The character's death ends a three-season run for the actor, who was supposed to be a one-appearance guest star that soon became the ongoing source of pushback for Jack.

"The moment you step aboard '24' you're taught to expect that you're going to bite it," Morrison, 54, said in an interview Friday. "In this solar system you have one sun. The rest of us are just planets that are invited to orbit, and sometimes we're just yanked out of the sky."

There have been plenty worse ways for good guys on the show to die: Lynn McGill died foaming at the mouth after inhaling nerve gas ditto for agent Edgar Stiles. Meanwhile, Michelle Dessler was rubbed out by a car bomb, Counter Terrorist Unit director Ryan Chappelle was unceremoniously executed by Jack himself, and President David Palmer was assassinated.

This season, "24" has spent much time confronting its own controversial theme: Jack's use of torture to extract information from terrorists. The season launched with CTU disbanded and Jack standing trial for his illegal methods. Buchanan had gone underground -- sporting the 5 o'clock shadow and dramatic all-black get-up to prove it -- working with computer whiz Chloe (Mary Lynn Rajskub) to suss out a mole in the FBI.

In last week's episode, Buchanan clashed with Bauer over torturing a compromised government official. Buchanan refused to do it.

"It was nice that Bill [Buchanan] didn't have to become someone else," said Morrison, a certified yoga instructor. "It was more in character to have him say, ambiguously as he did, 'I can't do that. Not only am I not trained to do that, but I can't do that. That's not me.'"

For his final goodbye, cast and crew gathered with cake on the White House set.

"I spent a moment with them basking in their appreciation of what I felt like was sort of a family member leaving the fold," Morrison said. "It was the most familial set I'd been on."

Since he's been assured Bill's staying dead (onetime dead agent Tony Almeida was resurrected this season), Morrison plans to record some of his own music -- "blues, folk stuff," he says -- and finish work on "Showing Up," a documentary he's producing with his wife, Riad Galayini, about the audition process for actors.

He'll also appear in the final two episodes of ABC's "Private Practice." "I can only reveal that I play someone who comes in to shake things up at the clinic," he said.

"It was so great to do something where there's no angst, no intensity," he added. "Where you're just having a conversation with somebody and the safety of the world is not at stake."

But the spirit of the play Uncle Vanya, is that it is passionate, banal, stubborn, miserable people reaching out, drinking, whispering to one another in the dark, coping with the vagaries and indignities of their feral loneliness, thrashing against their limitations and always coming up short.

Ashley Ellerin

Ashley Ellerin is a man who is accused of a murder of his former girlfriend of Ashton Kutcher, and one other person is facing trial in Los Angeles, officials have said.

Ashton Kutcher was reported in 2001 that he came by Ellerin’s house to take her with him to a party, but did not receive any answer. Kutcher said to the police that he saw through a back window what looked like wine stains on the carpet before he left. Ashley Ellerin was found the next day stabbed to death. Kutcher was never considered a suspect.

The other victim was Maria Bruno who was also found stabbed to death in a similar fashion only 40 miles away in 2005. A Santa Monica woman nearly became the third victim last year, but managed to fight back and survive. DNA from blood left at the scene led to Gargiulo’s arrest.

The Police are on the investigation and have a doubt that Gargiulo may be a serial killer who is active for over 15 years.

Rachel Ray About Her FHM Photo Shoot

Rachel Ray has nothing to regret about her FHM Photo Shoot in 2003. In an interview with the ABC Nightline which will be telecasted tonight, Rachel Ray talks about her FHM pictures.

“I think I was 35 at the time. And I thought about it for a while, and I said, ‘You know what? This magazine has as young as 17-, 18-year-olds in hottie bikinis, and these are all actresses, models, pin-up girls. I don’t belong to any even remote club of theirs.’

“And I thought, ‘If I’m gutsy enough to do this, this is a good thing for everybody. This is the everywoman, here she is,’. And I did it, and it was the most scared I’ve ever been, and I wouldn’t change a thing. I’d do it again tomorrow.”

“If you spend so much time thinking about the people who dislike what it is you’re doing, you’re doing a disservice to the people that employ you. I’m not employed by those people. I work for the people that want the type of food I write [about], the type of food we share with people.”

Rachel Ray is one of the richest women in the world, she says she is not able to calculate how much money she makes, and she only has an approximate count and says in excess of $18 million.

“It makes my stomach flip. I’m not comfortable with it … because I don’t like to think of my life as that far away from me. People that make that kind of money — it’s just too foreign of an idea. “I’m not a chef. I haven’t created any new technique in the kitchen. I’m not a rocket scientist. I think I’m good at writing accessible, fun, and affordable meals for the average American family. That's what I think I’m good at.”

Cheri Oteri Looking Worst After Surgery

Cheri Oteri after her face lift surgery seems to look funny these days at the Saturday Night Live alum.

She is a 46-years old lady, and her age seems to be seen on her face. But after the Cheri Oteri face lifting surgery there are signs of over-zealous plastic surgery which are seen and which had made her look funnier.

The face lift surgery has made her face pulled up a little too tight which has given it a shiny appearance. She might have also undergone an eyelift as her eyes looks smaller than before and even this may have been pulled too tightly as well during the eyelid surgery.

Even her nose appears to be a little thinner, which may be the result of a conservative rhinoplasty, leaving her with a more elegant and less rounded nasal tip. There is also a rumor which is about Cheri chin implant. Her chin also seems more pronounced, which gives her face a oval shape look than it had previously.

Dead Poets Society was on television. The stars in the movie are Robin Williams Robert Sean Leonard, Ethan Hawke, Josh Charles.

Robin Williams plays the role of a literature teacher in a premiere prep school during the 1950s in Dead Poets Society. The teacher inspires his students to achieve new heights of personal courage and intellectual expansion which ultimately leads to the suicide of a promising student and his subsequent dismissal for “causing” the suicide.

Jersey Devil And Its Origin

There are many origins of "Jersey Devil" legend. There are many legends in the earlier dates like the Native American folklore. The Lenni Lenape tribes were calling the area around Pine Barrens "Popuessing," meaning "place of the dragon." Swedish explorers later named it "Drake Kill", "drake" being a Swedish word for dragon, and "kill" meaning channel or arm of the sea, river, stream, etc.

The most accepted origin of the story as far as New Jersians are concerned started with Mother Leeds and is as follows:

"It was said that Mother Leeds had 12 children and after given birth to her 12th child, she said if she had another, it would be the devil. In 1735, Mother Leeds was in labor on a stormy night. Gathered around her were her friends. Mother Leeds was supposedly a witch and the child's father was the devil himself. The child was born normal, but then changed form. It changed from a normal baby to a creature with hooves, a horses head, bat wings and a forked tail. It growled and screamed, then killed the midwife before flying up the chimney. It circled the villages and headed toward the pines. In 1740 a clergy exorcised the devil for 100 years and it wasn't seen again until 1890."

"Mother Leeds" has been identified by some as Deborah Leeds, who was the wife of Japhet Leeds. This identification may have gained credence from the fact that Japhet Leeds named twelve children in the will he wrote in 1736, which is compatible with the legend of the Jersey Devil being the thirteenth child born by Mother Leeds.

Some skeptics believe the Jersey Devil to be nothing more than a creative manifestation of the English settlers. The aptly named Pine Barrens were shunned by most early settlers as a desolate, threatening place. Being relatively isolated, the barrens were a natural refuge for those wanting to remain hidden, including religious dissenters, loyalists, fugitives and military deserters in colonial times. Such individuals formed solitary groups and were pejoratively called "pineys", some of whom became notorious bandits known as "pine robbers". Pineys were further demonized after two early twentieth century eugenics studies depicted them as congenital idiots and criminals. It is easy to imagine early tales of terrible monsters arising from a combination of sightings of genuine animals such as bears, the activities of pineys, and fear of the barrens.

Outdoorsman and author Tom Brown Jr spent several seasons living in the wilderness of the Pine Barrens. He recounts occasions when terrified hikers mistook him for the Jersey Devil, after he covered his whole body with mud to repel mosquitoes.

Not surprisingly, the Jersey Devil legend is fueled by the various testimonials from reputable eyewitnesses who have reported to have encountered the creature, from precolonial times to the present day, as there are still reported sightings within the New Jersey area.

Many contemporary theorists believe that the Jersey Devil could possibly be a very rare, unclassified species which instinctually fears and attempts to avoid humans. Such elements that support this theory include the overall similarities of the creature's appearance (horselike head, long neck and tail, leathery wings, cloven hooves, blood-curdling scream), with the only variables being the height and color. Another factor that supports the cryptozoological theory is the fact that it is more likely that a species could endure over a span of several hundred years, rather than the existence of a single creature living for over 500 years.
