"The Three Faces of Eve" - The Human Mind

"The Three Faces of Eve" is a miraculous movie which featured Joanne Woodward, David Wayne, Lee J. Cobb, Edwin Jerome, Alena Murray. Joanne Woodward has pleased everyone with her acting and this movie also has a back up of supporting cast of the top stars.

The movie is out of this world & magnificent with the tempo that never slows. It will draw the attention of everyone and is not over overstress the plan. The character played by Joanne Woodward in The Three Faces of Eve is not widening from her previous roles, but still she has made the character most memorable and played her role incredibly with the script.

Eve White is the main character who is a withdrawn housewife surprised with her husband played by David Wayne states that she did not buy the showy, challenging clothes he finds in their bedroom. After she complains of blackouts, he takes her to a analyst played by Lee J. Cobb who comes across her second personality, Eve Black, a sexy, uninhibited woman.

As Eve’s therapy continues, her third self, the sensible, intelligent Jane appears to help resolve her rare multiple personality condition. Based on a true story, this acclaimed psychological drama brilliantly explores the dimensions of the human mind.

Sally Field starred in the title role, with Joanne Woodward playing the part of Sybil's psychiatrist, Cornelia B. Wilbur. Based on the book Sybil by Flora Rheta Schreiber, the movie sensationalizes the life of a timid young graduate student, Sybil Dorsett who is suffering from disassociate identity disorder as a result of the psychological trauma she suffered as a child.
